Books/papers relating to the Bible

"A Bible Believer’s Commentary on Acts"
( Download )
The book of Acts shows Israel’s history after the cross.
The Holy Ghost is given in Acts 2. The nation, as a whole, rejects God’s law covenant
with them for the final time, as they reject the ministry of the Holy Ghost.

"A Bible Believer’s Commentary on James"
( Download )
Like Hebrews, James is written to Israel for the tribulation period, as they are scattered among
the heathen (1:1), according to the fifth and final cycle of chastisement in Leviticus 26:33.

"Bible PerVERSIONS: How Satan Uses God's Word To Lead You Astray"
( Download ) Updated January 9, 2017.
Starts with a 10-page argument, stating that the King James Version is God's Word today in the English language.
After that, more than 200 pages of full quotations of the four most popular Bible translations today
(KJV, NIV, NKJV, and NLT) are given with commentary beneath each passage to highlight the perversions
of the modern translations. In all, 775 quotations are listed with 170 of these being highlighted
as the modern versions' worst perversions.

"A Bible Believer’s Commentary on John"
( Download )
John 20:31 tells us the purpose of the book of John. John was written so that Israel
“might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through His name.”

"A Bible Believer’s Commentary on Hebrews"
( Download )
I must start the commentary on Hebrews with the statement that:
“the book of Hebrews is written to the Hebrews.”

"A Bible Believer’s Commentary on Luke"
( Download )
The book of Luke shows Jesus as the perfect man.

"A Bible Believer’s Commentary on Mark"
( Download )
The book of Mark shows Jesus as the perfect servant, as prophesied in Zechariah 3:8
“I will bring forth my servant the Branch.”

"A Bible Believer’s Commentary on Matthew"
( Download )
The book of Matthew puts an end to 400-year period between the end of the Old Testament
and the beginning of the New Testament a time of silence from God,
due to the timeline God established for Israel in Daniel 9:24-27.
Matthew beings approximately 35 years before “Messiah be cut off” (Daniel 9:25),
which leaves only 7 more years of prophecy — the tribulation period —
before God establishes His eternal kingdom on earth (Daniel 2:44).
Therefore, God sends John the Baptist to “prepare…the way of the Lord” (Isaiah 40:3)
by preaching that “the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 3:2).

"A Bible-Believer's Critique of H. A. Ironside's Wrongly Dividing the Word of Truth"
( Download )
148 pages. The following is an article by H.A. Ironside regarding the dangers of Acts-28 dispensationalism.
Eric Neumann has analyzed this article and provided his comments in bold.
The comments appear as a parenthetical reference right after the material that is being commented on.
H.A. Ironside is an Acts-2 dispensationalist, while Eric Neumann does not subscribe to either of these views.
He is a Bible believer, who accepts the Bible as his final authority over all else.

"How To Be Led By The Spirit."
( Download )
"How To Be Led By The Spirit" is a 20-page article. It starts by examining how David Platt,
senior pastor of the Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, AL, discerned the Lord's leading to accept the position
of president of the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist organization.
The paper then goes into detail of how scripture says we are led by the Spirit in making decisions.
The article then concludes by comparing David Platt's method with the Bible's method, and tells why most Christians
follow the former, rather than the latter. This paper does not just apply to a specific situation, but it uses David's situation
as an example of what so many Christians do to be "led by the Spirit."

"The paper that got me expelled from Calvary Chapel Bible College!"
( Download )
The paper that got me expelled from Calvary Chapel Bible College!
This is an 8 page paper that is my completion of an assignment in the Acts class I took at Calvary Chapel.
The assignment was to define the four practices of the early church in Acts 2:42,
and how they apply to the church today. I said that the practices apply to a different dispensation.
Although I received a 100% on the paper for completing the assignment, the paper resulted in a few meetings
and conversations with the dean that ultimately led to me being expelled from the college.
The markings on the paper are from the teacher, Ed Cornwell, who refused to grade the paper.
The comments on the final page are from the dean, Erik Tribble.

"A Bible Believer's Bible Summary"
( Download )
A Bible Believer's Bible Summary is a 55 page book divided into 2 sections.
The first section is 37 pages and gives a detailed summary of the Bible, covering every book of the Bible in order,
along with many scripture references. The second section is 18 pages and gives a one-sentence summary of each book of the Bible,
along with quoting what is, in my opinion, the key passage of the book.

"Let John Finger Do The Walking"
( Download )
Is a 346-page biography of my grandfather, John Finger. He is the father of modern-day charity walks,
coming up with the idea and going on a 32-mile walk for the March of Dimes in 1949, raising over $1,700.
He ended up walking over 1,000 miles for the March of Dimes in his lifetime.
After working in a cotton mill and later as a taxi-cab driver, John retired and pursued a hobby of chasing down celebrities,
collecting over 8,000 individual photographs of himself with celebrities
and getting over 1,200 of them to autograph his King James Bible.
