Israel and the Church

Part 3    Part 1     Part 2

Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Mark 1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
Luke 3:3 And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;
Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ
for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Remission of sins is like cancer in remission. They are still there just in a holding pattern.
Israel's sins will be blotted out (IF they endure to the end of the Tribulation Period)
at the second coming of Christ to the earth.

The body of Christ's sins are forgiven and removed at the time of salvation.

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,
when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith,
and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
Revelation 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me,
These are they which came out of great tribulation,
and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Revelation 7:15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple:
and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
For by God's Grace through Christ's faith.
Many people think it is our faith but there is only one faith.
That is: Christ believing that God would raise Him from the dead.
Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you,
      which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
1 Corinthians 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you,
unless ye have believed in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that
      Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
1 Corinthians 9:17 For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will,
a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.
2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that
which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Galatians 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
Galatians 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:
in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,
Ephesians 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession,
unto the praise of his glory.
Our Lord Jesus purchased us when He came to die, to be buried and to be raised again.
Jesus coming to die for our sins and his resurrection for our justification
was NOT known until Christ revealed it to Paul.
Peter and the other disciples knew nothing about this,
it was kept secret IN GOD from the foundations of the earth.

We are SEALED in Christ. Jesus has already endured to the end for us.
We in the Church, the body of Christ, will be in heaven
when Israel is going through Tribulation.

1 Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead,
even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
1 Thessalonians 5:10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
Peter taught the death, burial and ressurection of Jesus
BUT Peter did NOT know the WHY of the cross.
Peter and the others (Acts 1:6-7) asked Jesus just before He ascended
if He was going to NOW restore the kingdom to Israel.
If the 12 disciples knew the reason of the cross they would have NOT asked that question.
Paul understood the WHY of the cross...
Salvation for everyone that believes on the finished work of Christ
Peter and the disciples thought that Jesus was risen to sit on the Throne of David.

Acts 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying,
Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

Hosea 1:9 Then said God, Call his name Loammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.
Romans 11:8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber,
eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
Romans 11:9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock,
      and a recompence unto them:
Romans 11:10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.
Romans 11:15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world,
what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery,
      lest ye should be wise in your own conceits;
that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
Romans 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer,
and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Romans 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

Romans 11:11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through
their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery,
      lest ye should be wise in your own conceits;
that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Isaiah 2:1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
Isaiah 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall
      be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills;
and all nations shall flow unto it.
Isaiah 2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths:
for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Matthew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father,
inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed:
and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces
and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing
shall come from the presence of the Lord.
Matthew 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration
when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones,
judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Hebrews 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
Hebrews 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord,
when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,
when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
Acts 3:20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
Acts 3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken
by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
The restoration of Israel is after the "Rapture"; the taking away of the body of Christ,
to the Kingdom of Christ in Heaven. The Rapture will happen when the
fullness of the Gentiles is come in. DOES NOT mean come into the kingdom of Israel
BUT come into one body, the body of Christ.

Rapture...The Taking away to heaven of the body of Christ.
1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and
remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,
to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

New Jerusalem for Israel... Revelation 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem,
coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Heaven for the body of Christ... 1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be
caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Beulah Land: Married Land. The land of promise will be married to the sons of Israel for eternity;
See Isa. 60:18-21, Isa.62:4-5. New Jerusalem is the beautiful and holy city that comes
down from heaven, adorned as a bride; See Rev. 21:2-3. That city will be part of the eternal
inheritance of Israel in the kingdom of heaven. God will be their everlasting light.
Adorned "as a bride" AND IS NOT "a bride". The Church, the body of Christ, is not a bride.
Blotted out: Israel's sins will be removed, (forgiven) if they endure to the end of the Tribulation Period.
Church: An assembly of people. In today's context Church is made of beleivers composing the "body of Christ".
There was a Church the "little flock", Peter was their overseer, made up of Jews and proselytes,
but they are not to be confused with the Church the body of Christ that Paul established.
The "little flock" was the church that Saul (Paul) persecuted before he came to salvation on the road to Damascus.
Paul, established the Church, the body of Christ.
Grace: Getting what you dont deserve. Example: Getting salvation freely.
Great Tribulation: The last 3 and 1/2 years of the Tribulation Period.
Tribulation Period: For Israel NOT the body of Christ. Israel had whored with other nations, they worshipped idols,
they killed their prophets and then they killed their Messiah, their Prince of Peace.
Because of these abominations before God, Tribulation is the IF you endure to the end stipulation that God placed
on Israel for their salvation. For the believers today, in this age of Grace, our sins are forgiven at the time of our salvation.
Jesus has endured to the end for us, therefore NO Tribulation is necessary.
Mercy: Not getting what you deserve. Example: Not getting God's wrath when you are saved.
Remitted & Remission: Just as in a cancer patient, many times the cancer goes into remission; the cancer is still there
but it is in a state of dormancy. So Israel's sins are in remission NOT forgiven,
their sins will be blotted out at the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Reward: There will be rewards given to the members of the Church, the body of Christ. In this fleshly life we do things
that gain us a reward in heaven. We do things pleasing to God NOT for salvation but because of salvation
and of a greatful heart. If we are doing things in the body of Christ that are NOT worthy of reward,
those things will be burned up and yet the believer himself is saved. See 1 Corinthians 3:15
Truth: What is truth for Israel is truth, what is truth for the body of Christ is truth, BUT they are NOT the same truth.
